The Banana is a 180 meter long stone breakwater located east of the harbour entrance. A blinking light is placed at each end of the Banana, a red light to the north and a green light to the south. The lights at each pierhead are fixed.

Skovshoved Harbour is situated 10 km north of Copenhagen, at the East Sealand coast of Oresund. It is offering one of the best racing areas in Denmark. The position of the harbour is: 55º 45" 7' N - 12º 36" 1' E.
